Access the building using the official mobile app only. Do not share digital credentials and report any access issues immediately.
Do not ignore health, safety, or emergency instructions
Always follow H&S signage, emergency alerts, and evacuation procedures.
Follow safety and security procedures
Use approved digital access methods in accordance with the building’s security policies.
Do not block hallways or emergency exits
Keep all corridors, stairways, and exits clear at all times.
Report health, safety, and workplace incidents immediately
Report any occupational health or safety incidents or near misses through the SAP EHSM Incident Reporting System.
Do not tamper with safety or emergency equipment
Fire and safety equipment must not be misused under any circumstances.
Stay informed on H&S requirements
Know your department’s H&S coordinators, emergency procedures, evacuation routes, assembly points, and fire wardens/first aiders.
Do not attempt to fix technical faults yourself
Report electrical or mechanical issues to the relevant teams.
Ensure the safe use of equipment
Use Display Screen Equipment safely and follow wellbeing instructions to reduce strain and prevent injuries.
Do not unplug, relocate, or modify technical equipment
All systems are centrally managed—contact IT for any changes.
Keep your workspace tidy and organised
Minimise clutter and limit personal items.
Do not tamper with smart systems or sensors
Lighting, temperature, and systems are automatically controlled for efficiency.
Dispose of personal waste properly
Ensure waste is cleared and placed in the designated disposal areas.
Do not use unapproved personal electrical appliances
Only approved appliances provided in pantry areas may be used.
Report issues and provide feedback
Use the mobile app or Helpdesk to report IT, facility, or safety issues.
Do not overload electrical connections or use unsafe equipment
Avoid damaged cables or unauthorised extensions.
Support sustainability and energy efficiency
Switch off unused screens and devices, use shared resources responsibly, and support DEWA’s sustainability goals.
Don’t use mobile phone chargers with power plugs or adapters; use USB cables only.

Engage respectfully with others
Maintain a collaborative, inclusive, and positive work environment.
Do not eat at workstations or near electrical equipment
Use designated dining and break areas only, to maintain safety, hygiene, and a clean work environment.

Dispose of waste properly in designated areas.
Use shared desks and collaboration areas properly
and respect shared and smart spaces, use them according to their designated purpose, and maintain quiet while doing so.

Avoid loud voice and unnecessary noise.
Do not misuse shared or smart facilities
Use all spaces and resources as intended and respect others.
Follow Road Traffic Safety rules
During trips to and from the workplace and during official road trips, always follow speed limits and parking instructions.

These areas are reserved for approved personnel only.

Employees are not allowed to bring or use additional electrical cords/cables.
The use of diffusers or incense burners/ medkhan for (oud/bakhoor) is strictly prohibited in the workplace at Al Shera’a.
